Buffet
Approximately 1 hour 20 minutes is reserved for the buffet meal. The full wedding event is expected to finish around 2:00 PM.

Standard wedding guest attire. Formal or semi-formal wedding attire is appropriate.
Short on time?
Guests who need to leave early may go to the buffet area and watch the ceremony live on TV while eating.

KOREAN WEDDING CUSTOM
Wedding Gifts in Korea
At Korean weddings, many guests choose to give a cash gift called chugui-geum (축의금). If you would like to follow this custom at our wedding, the process will be very simple. Envelopes and pens will be available at the venue, so you do not need to bring your own.
Write Your Name on the Envelope
When you arrive, envelopes and pens will be available at the wedding venue. Place the cash gift in an envelope and write your name on the outside.
Give It to Our Family at the Reception Desk
Before entering the ceremony, stop by the reception desk. Members of Hyung Joo's family will be there to greet you and receive the envelope.
Tell Us How Many Meal Tickets You Need
After you hand over the envelope, our family will ask how many meal tickets your party needs. Please tell them the exact number of people who will be eating. We are charged for the meal based on the number of tickets distributed, so an accurate count is very helpful.
Sign the Guest Book
Finally, please write your name in the wedding guest book, called the bangmyeongnok (방명록). Once that is done, you are all checked in and ready for the ceremony.

Lotte World is a large complex, so please allow extra time. The wedding venue is inside the Lotte World Folk Museum area on the 3rd floor.

From Jamsil Station, follow signs for Exit 4. From the Exit 4 area, go straight toward the underground Lotte Mart Zettaplex.

Continue straight, following signs toward the Folk Museum and Lotte Mart.

Turn left near CJ Gourmet Bridge
When you reach the area near CJ Gourmet Bridge, turn left toward the main gate.

Pass Lotty & Lorry
You will see the Lotte World characters Lotty and Lorry. Pass them and continue around toward the back.

Elevator → 3rd Floor
Take the Folk Museum elevator to the 3rd floor. This brings you to the Folk Museum / traditional restaurant area where the traditional wedding venue is located.
Important:
Because the route inside Lotte World can be confusing, we recommend arriving 20–30 minutes earlier than you normally would.

For the least confusion, search for the Folk Museum rather than only “Lotte World.”

We are intentionally keeping this party low-key. We are not planning to book a formal venue, hire a DJ, or turn it into another large wedding reception. We simply want a comfortable place to eat, have drinks and dessert, share photos from our Korea wedding, and celebrate together with the people who are important to us.
TRAVEL
Welcome to Seoul.
For many of you, this may be your first trip to Korea. We put together the practical information we would want a first-time visitor to know—from leaving Incheon Airport to using the subway, getting mobile data, and preparing for immigration.

Getting to Seoul
Most international guests will arrive at Incheon International Airport (ICN). The airport has Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, so check which terminal your airline uses before your flight.
- AREX airport railroad: A convenient train option from Incheon Airport to Seoul Station. This is especially useful if your hotel is near central Seoul or if you are comfortable transferring to the subway or a taxi at Seoul Station.
- Airport limousine bus: Often the easiest choice when traveling with larger luggage because bags are stored under the bus and many routes stop near major hotels and neighborhoods. If you are staying in Jamsil or Gangnam, check whether a bus stops close to your hotel before deciding.
- Taxi: A good option for several people traveling together, heavy luggage, or a late arrival. At Incheon Airport, use the official taxi stands rather than accepting rides from people approaching you inside the terminal.

Getting Around
Seoul's subway is usually the easiest way for a first-time visitor to move around the city. Station names and major signs include English, and exit numbers are important—two exits from the same station can be several blocks apart.
- Transit card: Pick up a T-money transportation card at a convenience store or subway station. Each traveler should have their own card. Tap when entering and leaving the subway; on buses, tap when boarding and again when getting off.
- Navigation: Download NAVER Map before your trip. It supports English and is extremely useful for subway routes, bus routes, walking directions, restaurants, cafés, and finding the correct station exit.
- Taxis: For visitors without a Korean phone number or Korean credit card, apps designed for international travelers such as k.ride are convenient. Uber Taxi also operates in Korea using the regular Uber app.
- Translation: Papago is useful for menus, signs, and conversations. Its camera translation can be especially helpful when something is written only in Korean.

Before You Arrive
A little preparation before your flight will make the first day much easier. Entry requirements can change, and our wedding is in June 2027, so please re-check the official Korean government websites shortly before traveling.
- Entry requirements: Do not assume that today's K-ETA rules will still apply in June 2027. Check the official K-ETA website for your nationality and passport before departure. If an e-Arrival Card is required for your trip, the official Korean government site explains how and when to submit it.
- Phone data: Having mobile data from the moment you leave the airport is very helpful for maps and taxis. International visitors can use roaming, a physical SIM, or an eSIM. SIM/eSIM options are also available through Korean mobile carriers and at major airports.
- Portable Wi-Fi (WiFi Dosirak): If you would rather not use an eSIM or SIM card, you can rent a small portable Wi-Fi router, commonly called a WiFi Dosirak (와이파이도시락). Reserve it before your trip, pick it up at Incheon Airport, connect your phone and other devices to it like a normal Wi-Fi hotspot, and return the device before you fly home. This can be especially convenient for couples or families sharing one connection. Just remember that it is an extra device to carry and keep charged.
- Money: Credit cards are widely accepted in Korea, but carrying a small amount of Korean won is still useful for transportation-card reloads, traditional markets, and occasional cash-only situations.
- Power: Korea uses 220V / 60Hz electricity with two round-pin outlets. U.S. travelers will normally need a plug adapter. Check the voltage printed on your charger before connecting any device.
- Save your addresses: Screenshot or save your hotel name and address in both English and Korean. We also recommend saving the Korean wedding venue name—롯데월드 민속박물관 전통혼례장—so you can show it to a taxi driver if needed.
- If you need help: Korea Tourism Organization's 1330 Travel Helpline provides travel information and multilingual assistance. For emergencies in Korea, call 112 for police or 119 for fire/ambulance.
